Despite the intense heat waves and arid conditions, Wired On Honda and Pro Tuner Parts threw together an event amazing enough to convince all the Honda heads to venture out of their homes and into the sweaty armpit that is Riverside mid-day.
Pop-up tents, umbrellas, and oversized hats were the common denominator at this show. Anything that provided shade was filled with dehydrated tuners and enthusiasts. Thankfully there were plenty of nice cars and hot models to keep everyone distracted.
There was a little bit of everything at this meet, from the super clean to the, well, not so clean. Plenty of sleek EKs and EGs showed up - some sporting BBS and Works and others sporting Tenzo and Rotas. Quite a few Civics rolled in with transplants from their newer brethren; others were turbocharged or received some other form of forced induction.
Ultimately the heat won out over all the clean rides and the meet slowly dwindled down to a few vendors and people who had passed out from sun stroke. Good times and great cars - hopefully an even better meet next year.
