2010 Eibach Springs
Honda-Tech Open House

May 16th, 2010 - Corona, CA

This is the day that every Honda fan boy looks forward to each and every year. The day that Civics, S2000's, Accords, Hondas of every model and year flock not in the hundreds - but in thousands to what has amassed into the largest gathering of H loyalists in the states. Eibach.

That's right kids, pull out that tire shine and polish those manifolds up because it's time to show everyone what you've got at the annual Eibach Springs Open House. Eibach is notorious around all of the Honda forums, Honda-Tech in particular. Notorious for what? Having some of the best Honda badged cars on the West Coast? Having one of the largest followings? Having the most reported vehicles stolen at any yearly gathering? You've got to take the good with the bad at this show - and make sure you're gear is locked up tight and out of sight. If the wrong people catch wind of that rare JDM commodity you've got tucked away under that hook of yours, you better be prepared to defend it.

Horror stories aside, Eibach's 2010 open house brought out some of the nicest cars it's seen in many years. The local chapters of the driveaccord forums, s2ki, clubrsx, nsxprime, fitfreak, and the various civic forums all came in full force, as did the local shops and vendors. Smart Wax had very convincing display going on throughout the day with their half beat up, half gorgeous BMW trunk, and ICB motorsports brought some super clean Civics out to show. Rywire had plenty of exposure with various member driven vehicles out in the VIP section of the event as well.

The real show stoppers were scattered throughout the crowds. Among them were several Civic EP3's - one of which has 24 karat gold dipped Work wheels, and another was sporting an incredible yellow pearl paint job, stripped race interior, and outfitted with Mugen goodies. Sitting in front of the entrance was a Sorcery wide-body Acura NSX with a polished blower sitting in the back. There were dozens of S2000's decorated with various Spoon and ASM adornments, one of which had a Mooncraft hardtop.

Whether you love them or hate them, you've got to give respect to the tens of thousands of people who showed up to this year's festivities as well as the thousands of Hondas that were driven all the way out to Corona regardless of whether they were purely for show, designed for the tracks, or just built to enjoy on the weekends.
