Hot Import Nights is back and they've joined forces with NOPI to bring one of the most comprehensive automotive events the U.S. has ever seen.
While both names are well recognized in the industry and both yield a great deal of respect, the organizers of Hot Import Nights have left a bitter taste in everyone's mouth that has carried over from the winter 2009 show season. Will their new Super Show be able to save the once unparalleled powerful import car show giant? We'll find out on July 2nd at the New England Raceway located in New Hampshire.
As the first stop in their 2010 tour, the New England Raceway is providing all sorts of entertainment - both automotive and otherwise. Supplementing the car show competition is the Gymkhana head to head drifting show. If that isn't your cup of tea, NOPI will be bringing in high horsepower dragsters for some tire smoking, tarmac decimating, quarter-mile drag races - and it just wouldn't be a NOPI event without the scantily clad models and swimsuit contests.
The Super Show has already tentatively scheduled shows in Boston, New York, Atlanta, Miami, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Chicago. The suspense seems almost unbearable.
The bleak outlook that once loomed over the import car show scene has long since passed with the arrival of both the Remix events and Spocoms growing tour. With HIN and NOPI teaming up and adding several shows to the plate, this year's show schedule is bursting at the seams.
Registration and ticket information will be available soon, but there is still plenty of information on their upcoming shows on the official site HIN NOPI Super Show website, including judging criteria, categories and participating vendors.
