The creators of Remix Events built up as much hype as they possibly could before their big premier at the Irwindale Speedway in California. Local radio stations, national car enthusiast forums, Import Tuner Magazine - all were promoting the event to no end. The question on everyone's mind, "Could Remix live up to the hype?"
You better believe it.
Just like HIN before it, Remix successfully united thousands of enthusiasts at one venue. The drift nuts of Xtreme Drift Competition(XDC), the show queens of team Auto Concept, TW Competition, team High Intenzity, and vendors from all over Southern California brought out spectacular displays and exhibitions that put 2009 to shame.
Cooper Tires brought out some amazing exotics and many vehicles created by DTM Autobody were on display as well including their widebody Porsche Cayman. Heavy Hitters called out an immaculate Aston Martin V8, and sat their miniature Lamborghini Murcielago down next to it. Plenty of Audis showed up including an ABT Audi A5, and a pearl green A3.
If the team at Remix Events can maintain the quality of vehicles and high-impact event entertainment that they brought to Irwindale, they should have no problem carrying the torch that HIN has passed on to them.
